How to Configure SIP Forwarding

Configuring SIP accounts with VoIP software is very simple and usually no special configuration is required. However, there are certain times when configuration is required because there are extensions that are not supported by some applications. This article provides some simple steps that you can use for configuring SIP and also the extensions needed by the software.

The configuration of SIP applications is usually done with SIP forwarding or SIP testing accounts. To perform the testing, you have to have at least 2 SIP forwarding accounts configured. The SIP forward used for the testing or test is chosen when the test is being conducted, so each of the SIP forwarding accounts can be used to perform the tests. You can also configure the SDP header messages by using the “edit mode” feature on each SIP client. You can view the SDP header messages, delete them and then recreate them by typing the SDP header messages. The SDP header messages are sent by using the SDP message feature and can then be saved and then restored to the SDP header file.

You can configure SIP forwarding accounts using the SIP account wizard. This wizard is a graphical user interface and can be used to create and configure a wide variety of SIP accounts. This wizard can be used to create a number of SIP accounts in order to enable users to select the preferred IP network addresses, SIP forwarding servers and the SIP forwarding addresses.

The SIP account wizard can be used to set the values for the SIP account parameters that will be required for each SIP forwarding account. You can also use the wizard to create the default configuration file that will be used to create new SIP forwarding accounts.
