Creating a SIP trunk is simple, yet very time-consuming task. You need to select the proper component, which often includes an IP address, an optional DNS server address, and an anonymous proxy. Then, select the appropriate application type, which again, often includes an IP address, an optional DNS server address, and an anonymous proxy. Then, select “System” and then “Network settings”. On the left side, under “etooth devices”, click “scan”.

Actually, you can also use your favorite text editor to create your own SIP trunk security configuration. Just follow the steps mentioned above, and then you can save it as a file, and then you can open it with any text editor like Microsoft Word, Publisher, or Notepad. Last but not least, you should note down the IP address, the destination, the descriptive name for each of the configured parameters, and then save it in a new file. Once you have reviewed and saved all these three files, you can now restart the Cisco system to enable the newly created SIP trunking configuration.
